Students must create a Scoop.it account for this subject. The Scoop.it account must be created solely for use in this subject and must not include links to personal material other than that which is course related. Students must be mindful of their privacy and respectful of the privacy of the classmates and any others they follow via their social media accounts.

Students must follow the Margie Teaches Libstudies account on Scoop.it and make sure that Margie is following your account.

Students must follow the Scoop.it boards of at least five library related organisations or people.

Students must scoop at least ten items to their board.

Students must share at least three Scoops via your Facebook and Twitter account.

Write a post on your Facebook page outlining how you think libraries could benefit form using content curation tools such as Scoop.it. Include links to two other content curation tools like Scoop.it.

Please note: when you are joining Scoop.it you will see there are several different levels of membership.The basic Scoop.it membership is FREE. This is all you will need for this subject. You do NOT need to pay for one of the advanced membership packages for Scoop.it.
